Sex Without Love
How do they do it, the ones who make love
without love?...

I started this by writing that I don’t have any major life updates, then once I began I realised it’s possible this is one of the biggest years of my life to date:
- Moved out of home - this was a HUGE step for me, something I finally got to do (living in the big city, oh my!) and something I think I probably over planned and under thought. I spent the first 3 months living by...

Always Fall For Cities, Never For Boys.
So I met a boy from London
And promptly fell in love
He smiled and took my breath away
And swept away my heart
He made suave conversation
And made me break my rules
For a night of honest passion
That’s made me such a fool
For the truth is there’s another
But I heard about her later
And it turns out that my lover
Is really quite the player
And he bagged a friend for cheating
But he’s really...

So it occurred to me...
…that I haven’t been on here in forever!
Mainly because my life at the moment consists of:
Working 40 hour weeks
Studying an extra 30+ hours a week
Daily gym sessions
Running, running, and more running
Attempting to have a life in between
I honestly don’t know why I decided to move out form my parents - I’m out more hours than I’m at home and I’m spending...

A Master At Falling In (And Out) Of Love
You’re open with strangers
yet a stranger with friends
you said that you loved him
but you left him again
Problems don’t change if
relationships end
they hide in the dark
as you try to be friends
Nostalgia holds you back from the
truths you can’t face
some things aren’t meant to be
no matter what the pace
You can’t help everyone you love
they...

The cold hard truth of it all.
sternerandrogier:
The human body is woefully adept at movements like crushing skulls and shattering bones and processing gallons of poison.
It is not quite as adept in holding others.
Bodies are filled with pockets of fleshiness; a woman’s bosom, the typical soft ring of comfort around the average person’s torso….

Working on a new writing piece
But I’m not happy with it, and I think I’m trying to combine two poems into one without meaning to.
I have a habit of projecting my own problems onto others when I’m overtired. My mind is a mess at the moment - let’s hope I get this damn apartment I’m waiting to hear back on so I will finally be able to sleep more than two hours a night.

So this Monday at PB:
I wore this little black dress that I’ve had in my wardrobe for months and have been too sooky to wear. It’s quite short, and I have to be careful it doesn’t fall down either since it’s strapless, so I have been terribly hesitant about wearing it.
However, Monday, i decided I was going to be daring and just put the damn thing on. And of course, Mondays = Public Bar.

So I’m doped up on morphine (which led to an interesting trip to the shops, though I can’t remember it for the most part. Apparently I mainly leaned on things and smiled a lot. Possibly saw my boyfriend too, though I hope that was another hallucination, since I’m completely out of it.) and I have a huge headache. So far today i’ve realized I really want to go to Thailand...
